
Sydney is the founder of ACTION, Inc and current executive director. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist. She earned both a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Western Kentucky University in 2016, followed by a Master’s in Social Work in 2017. Her experience includes community work, foster care and adoption, case management, behavior therapy, and trauma treatment. Since moving to Bowling Green in 2013, she has been dedicated to meeting the community’s needs through ACTION, Inc., and is grateful for the tremendous support received.

Tionna Lucas is a Certified Social Worker who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University. She has extensive experience supporting children and teens with trauma histories, behavioral challenges, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Tionna is passionate about helping youth build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and reach their fullest potential. Tionna also serves as the TCM and peer support supervisor.

Jessica earned both her Bachelor’s (2021) and Master’s (2023) degrees in Social Work from Western Kentucky University. She brings extensive experience in the mental health field, including crisis intervention and behavioral management with all age groups. Jessica is excited to be part of ACTION, Inc. and looks forward to making a positive difference for the individuals and families we serve.

Kaitlyn is a community-based therapist serving clients in Simpson County, providing therapy for both children and parents. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Louisville and is committed to helping clients reach their full potential. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and their dog. She strives to make a positive impact in the lives of others and in the world around her.

Lillien is a licensed Certified Social Worker (CSW) who earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She first joined ACTION, Inc. as an intern and is excited to return as a therapist, continuing her passion for supporting children and families. Lillien has experience working in a daycare setting and especially enjoys working with young children, including preschool-aged “littles.” She uses a play-based, developmentally appropriate approach to help children feel safe, express their emotions, and build essential social and emotional skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Brooklyn Mays is a Targeted Case Manager & child therapist, serving youth and families in Warren and Simpson Counties, offering support with everyday challenges, including school-related needs. She recently earned her Master’s in Social Work from Western Kentucky University. Brooklyn enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as being outdoors and actively involved in the community.

Meet Camry, one of the friendly faces in our after-school program and a dedicated case manager, and child therapist, at ACTION Inc.! A proud WKU graduate with a master’s in social work, she brings experience in ABA therapy, foster care case management, and teaching social skills to adults with disabilities. Camry’s compassion and creativity shine as she helps kids grow, explore, and reach their goals.

Allison is a Targeted Case Manager with a passion for helping families connect to resources that best meet their needs. She has specialized experience supporting families seeking school advocacy and services for youth on the autism spectrum. A 2023 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in Social Work, Allison is a proud mom of three young children and also shares her home with two cats and a dog. She enjoys pepperoni pizza, Dunkin’, and spending time with her family. After interning with ACTION, Inc. in 2022, Allison is excited to return to the team in her current role.

Dwaine Kennedy serves as Executive Assistant at ACTION, Inc. and is a Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist. With a passion for helping children reach their full potential, Dwaine brings both professional expertise and a personal understanding of the importance of family. Growing up in a large family and now raising a big family of his own, he values connection, support, and teamwork. Outside of work, Dwaine enjoys sports, video games, and art, and he’s always ready to cheer kids on as they grow and succeed.

Cassidy Moore is a Peer Support Specialist at ACTION, Inc. and a current student in the Social Work program at Western Kentucky University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in American Sign Language and Family and Children Studies. Cassidy has extensive experience in foster care and adoption systems and is passionate about supporting youth and families. She is grateful to be part of a program that makes a meaningful difference in the community.

Yuly serves as a Youth Peer Support Specialist and Hispanic Community Advocate, mentoring youth and providing culturally responsive support to Spanish-speaking families in the Bowling Green area. She graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Administration and is the proud mother of two boys. As a bilingual professional, Yuly is passionate about serving the Hispanic community and helping others succeed.

Belle serves as a Peer Support Specialist at ACTION, Inc., bringing lived experience and deep empathy to her work with youth and families. Having navigated challenging seasons herself, Belle understands the importance of being heard, believed in, and supported without judgment. Belle provides peer support services through Simpson County’s After-School Program, offering hope, encouragement, and consistent support to students in a safe, familiar environment.

Christian serves as the Village Director at the Village Center. Having spent part of his childhood in foster care before being adopted, his lived experience deeply informs his commitment to supporting children and families. Now a father of three, Christian brings both personal insight and practical leadership to his role. He is passionate about creating environments where individuals feel welcomed, supported, and understood, and where programs are able to grow in meaningful and sustainable ways.

Brianna serves as our bilingual Program Coordinator & TCM for the Village Center. She brings over five years of experience in social work, providing therapeutic services, case management, and mentorship to youth and young adults involved in the foster care system. She enjoys connecting with new people, organizing events, and using her creativity to strengthen programs and community engagement.

Hannah serves as a Youth and Adult Peer Support Specialist at ACTION, Inc.’s Village Center. She supports youth, adults, and families who are impacted by the foster care system. She is currently in her Master’s of Social Work program at the University of Kentucky. She brings both lived and professional experience within the foster care system, as well as a background in supporting diverse populations and individuals with special needs.
