I moved to Bowling Green in 2013, saw the need, and am striving to meet that need with this program. The support that we have received from the community has been unimaginable and beautiful. Every person deserves love, acceptance, goals, and support. I am overjoyed to have the honor of being one of those supporters.
My name is Ashley Shell. I am a 25 year old wife and a mother to 3 wonderful kiddos. I graduated from Campbellsville University with a Bachelors in Social Work in 2022. I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Social Work, Advanced Standing Clinical Track at Campbellsville University. I currently work as a Behavioral Health Specialist providing individual and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention services, to adults. I also have experience working with the aging population. I am honored to be a board member of ACTION, Inc. After working with ACTION as an intern for my BSW degree, I knew that I wanted to continue to work with this agency after seeing the difference that ACTION has made in the lives of the adolescents we serve, as well as their families. I strongly believe in the mission of ACTION, and recognize the importance of mentorship and education of our community’s youth. We have already seen the impact that our mission has made in the lives of the teens we serve, and I can’t wait to see what impact we can make going forward.
