Meet our service providers

Sydney is the founder of ACTION, Inc and current executive director. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist. She earned both a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Western Kentucky University in 2016, followed by a Master’s in Social Work in 2017. Her experience includes community work, foster care and adoption, case management, behavior therapy, and trauma treatment. 

Tionna Lucas is a Certified Social Worker who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University. She has extensive experience supporting children and teens with trauma histories, behavioral challenges, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Tionna is passionate about helping youth build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and reach their fullest potential. Tionna also serves as the TCM and peer support supervisor.

 Jessica earned both her Bachelor’s (2021) and Master’s (2023) degrees in Social Work from Western Kentucky University. She brings extensive experience in the mental health field, including crisis intervention and behavioral management with all age groups. 

Kaitlyn is a community-based therapist serving clients in Simpson County, providing therapy for both children and parents. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Louisville and is committed to helping clients reach their full potential. She strives to make a positive impact in the lives of others and in the world around her. 

Lillien Hudson is a Certified Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. She specializes in supporting young children and their families and has experience working in early childhood and daycare settings. Lillien uses play-based, developmentally appropriate approaches to help children feel safe, express emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen early social and emotional development. Her warm and patient approach helps children engage in therapy in ways that feel natural, supportive, and age-appropriate.

Brooklyn Mays is a Certified Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Western Kentucky University. She provides therapy and coordinated support to children and families while also serving as a Targeted Case Manager. Brooklyn uses a wraparound approach to help families address emotional, behavioral, school-related, and practical needs while connecting them with helpful services and community resources. Her supportive and approachable style helps children and families feel understood, encouraged, and connected throughout the process.

Camry Joiner is a Certified Social Worker and Targeted Case Manager who provides therapy and leads recreation- and wellness-based programming at ACTION. She coordinates programs including Adult-ish, therapeutic sports, the Art Play Studio, and Respite Night, while helping develop additional opportunities for young adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. Camry brings experience in case management, foster care, ABA-based services, and supporting individuals with disabilities. Her creativity and encouraging approach help participants build confidence, independence, social skills, and meaningful connections.

Allison is a Targeted Case Manager and ACTION’s Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist. She has a strong passion for helping families understand their options, advocate for their children in school settings, and connect with services and community resources that best meet their needs. Allison is known for her thorough follow-through, practical support, and ability to help families navigate school concerns, autism-related services, and other complex systems. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Western Kentucky University in 2023.

 Dwaine Kennedy serves as Executive Assistant at ACTION, Inc. and is a Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist. With a passion for helping children reach their full potential, Dwaine brings both professional expertise and a personal understanding of the importance of family. Growing up in a large family and now raising a big family of his own, he values connection, support, and teamwork. Outside of work, Dwaine enjoys sports, video games, and art, and he’s always ready to cheer kids on as they grow and succeed.

Cassidy Moore is a Peer Support Specialist at ACTION, Inc. and a current student in the Social Work program at Western Kentucky University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in American Sign Language and Family and Children Studies. Cassidy has extensive experience in foster care and adoption systems and is passionate about supporting youth and families. 

Yuly serves as a Youth Peer Support Specialist, mentoring youth and providing culturally responsive support to Spanish-speaking families in the Bowling Green area. She graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Administration and is the proud mother of two boys. As a bilingual professional, Yuly is passionate about serving the Hispanic community and helping others succeed.
