Board of Directors & Leadership

Sydney Jones, LCSW | Founder & Executive Director

Sydney Jones is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder and Executive Director of ACTION, Inc. Her experience includes behavioral health, foster care and adoption, case management, community-based services, and trauma-informed care. She founded ACTION after recognizing the need for services that address the full range of barriers facing children and families. Sydney also provides clinical leadership and supports the continued growth of ACTION’s programs and community impact.

Ashley Shell, CSW | President

Ashley Shell holds a Master of Social Work from Campbellsville University and currently practices as a clinician. Her professional experience includes early childhood services, behavioral health, crisis intervention, and supporting children and families affected by substance use. After previously serving with ACTION as a social work intern, Ashley joined the Board of Directors because of her strong belief in ACTION’s mission and its impact on children and families throughout the community.

Amanda Page, MSN, RN | Vice President

Amanda Page earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University and her Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2021. She currently serves as an assistant nursing professor at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College. As Board Vice President, Amanda supports ACTION’s mission by helping strengthen community awareness, partnerships, and opportunities for children and families.

Brionna Pigram, LCSW | Secretary

Brionna Martin earned her Master of Social Work from Western Kentucky University and currently practices as a clinical therapist. Her work focuses on helping individuals and families navigate trauma, strengthen emotional well-being, and build resilience. As Board Secretary, Brionna supports ACTION’s commitment to removing barriers and creating meaningful opportunities for children and families.

Madison Lindsey, Treasurer

Madison Lindsey is a Western Kentucky University graduate and a longtime Bowling Green resident. She is currently a stay-at-home mother and has previous experience in tourism and marketing, where she developed strengths in community engagement, promotion, organization, and public outreach. As Board Treasurer, Madison supports ACTION’s financial oversight, continued growth, and commitment to serving children and families.

Jasmine Bass, MSW

Jasmine Bass earned her Master of Social Work from Western Kentucky University and currently works in workforce development, helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and greater self-sufficiency. Her professional background also includes foster care, hospice, long-term care, and children’s crisis services. As a longtime supporter of ACTION, Jasmine brings valuable experience in social services, advocacy, and community-based support to the Board of Directors.

Korina Lee

  Korina Lee is a Bowling Green business owner and active community volunteer. As co-owner of a local childcare facility, she brings experience in leadership, early childhood services, and organizational management. Korina also serves in community leadership roles and supports local nonprofits, outreach efforts, and family-centered initiatives. As a longtime member of ACTION’s Board of Directors, she is committed to helping the organization grow and expand its impact for children and families.

Kaleb Whitworth

 Kaleb Whitworth holds a Masters degree in counseling and human development with a specialization in mental health counseling from Lindsey Wilson College, and he obtained a graduate substance abuse counseling certificate from Lindsey Wilson College. He completed his undergraduate studies in psychology at University of Phoenix. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor (LPCC-S), Temporary Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (TCADC) under supervision to become a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and International Certified Gambling Counselor-Level I (ICGC-I). He is a Certified DUI Assessor as well. He has over six years of experience providing professional counseling services to individuals, groups and families, and he enjoys focusing his work on matters relating to susbtance and process addictions. He is a proud member of the National Associciation for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse counselors and the Kentucky Counseling Association.
