The Village Center at ACTION Inc
The ACTION, Inc. Village Center is a welcoming, family-focused space designed to support children, youth, and caregivers impacted by foster care, adoption, kinship care, and other challenging transitions. Our goal is to strengthen families early, reduce placement disruptions, and provide a safe community where no one has to navigate their journey alone. The Village Center brings together connection, support, and resources under one roof so families can access help without barriers or judgment.
We provide therapy, case management, and peer support for both adults and youth, designed to meet families exactly where they are. Our team works directly with biological families working toward reunification, foster parents seeking support, and youth in out-of-home or adoptive placements needing consistent, trauma-informed care. In addition to therapeutic and support services, we offer enrichment programs such as Friendship Lab, respite nights, birthday bashes, and practical resources through the Village Closet. Our intentionally designed spaces—playrooms, game rooms, party rooms, and gathering areas—create a warm, developmentally supportive environment for all who walk through our doors.
Beyond programming, the Village Center strengthens community connections through family events, caregiver resources, and partnerships that increase stability, belonging, and hope. From baby showers and birthday celebrations to workshops, mentorship, and ongoing therapeutic support, every offering is created to uplift families and empower them on their journey. Whether caregivers need guidance, youth need encouragement, or families need a compassionate community, the Village Center is here to walk alongside them with care and respect.

Our Monthly Birthday Party Bashes create a safe, joyful space where kids are honored with games, treats, and connection—no matter where they are placed or how often they move. These celebrations remind each child that they matter, they are valued, and they are never alone in our village.

Village Baby Showers
Village Baby Showers offer families a meaningful way to celebrate new life while giving back to the community. By hosting your baby shower at the ACTION, Inc. Village Center, 100% of proceeds or requested donations directly support families impacted by foster care through essential supplies, peer support, and family-strengthening programs. Your celebration helps ensure more children are supported, families are resourced, and transitions are met with care.

Hygiene & Clothing Closet
The Hygiene & Clothing Closet provides children, youth, and families with access to essential personal care items and clothing at little to no cost. By meeting basic needs during times of transition or hardship, the closet promotes dignity, stability, and support for families impacted by foster care and related challenges. Donations can be dropped off at 901 Beauty Ave. Monday-Thursday 9-3 PM.
COMING SOON— Village Tots
Village Tots is a short-term enrichment and care program for young children ages 3–6, designed to support families impacted by foster care and related transitions. Through play-based activities, routine, and social-emotional learning, children build confidence, connection, and foundational skills in a safe, nurturing environment. Village Tots also provides caregivers with reliable support and breathing room, helping strengthen families while keeping children connected to community.
